Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Accounting & Operations Intern who is ready to take on responsibilities that extend beyond accounting. In this role, you will:
Prepare financial statements and perform journal entries
Work with accounting tools such as QBO and Zoho
Support day-to-day operations and sales processes
Assist with the management of live Upwork client projects alongside our international teams
Develop leadership and project management skills with a view to transitioning into a full-time Project Manager role after the initial 30 days

Training and Growth Path

12 weeks of paid training with basic necessities provided
Exposure to multiple departments including finance, operations, and sales
Performance review at 30 days based on pre-discussed metrics

Qualifications

Proficiency in preparing financial statements and recording journal entries
Experience with accounting software such as QBO and Zoho
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Pursuing or holding a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an office setting
