Syntax Resources (HR Consulting & Training Firm) is currently hiring for a leading FMCG distribution company based in Lahore. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced professional to manage financial operations and support strategic financial decision-making.
🔍 Position: Accountant / Chartered Accountant
📍 Location: Lahore
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update financial records (GL, AP, AR)
• Prepare and reconcile daily sales, purchases, and expense reports
• Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow statements
• Monitor inventory costs, supplier payments, and distributor margins
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Sales Tax & Withholding Tax regulations (Pakistan)
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Provide financial insights for management decision-making
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• CA / ACCA / ICMA (Qualified or Part Qualified preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (FMCG/distribution/trading preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Pakistani tax laws & reporting standards
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems & MS Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines with high attention to detail
