Vendor Acquisition Specialist

Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Vendor Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development efforts, identifying opportunities, and securing contracts with the U.S. and Canadian government. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and proven track record of exceptional vendor management. You will work closely with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for winning government contracts and expanding our presence in the federal market.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sales strategies to drive new business opportunities and expand relationships with vendors.
• Identify and qualify potential contract opportunities through various procurement portals.
• Manage end-to-end sales process from identifying the lead, sourcing vendors and the preparation of bids, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain and grow accounts with multiple vendors providing exceptional service.
• Monitor the marketplace for new opportunities and changes in regulations affecting procurement.
• Provide market intelligence and sales forecasting to senior leadership, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with a neutral OR American accent.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams across different time zones.
• Prior experience in sales, business development, vendor management, customer service are all preferable but not mandatory. We will provide you with all the necessary operational training.
