Upwork Bidding Specialist

Description:

This is an on-site, full-time role for an Upwork Bidding Specialist based in Lahore. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and bidding on projects on Upwork that align with the company's expertise. Responsibilities include crafting tailored proposals, managing client communications, maintaining a pipeline of potential clients, and ensuring the meeting of monthly targets. The role also requires building and nurturing relationships with clients to generate recurring opportunities and coordinating with the internal team to ensure delivery matches client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Search and identify relevant projects on Upwork.
• Write customized and persuasive proposals.
• Communicate with potential clients and handle initial discussions.
• Maintain a strong response rate and profile metrics on Upwork.
• Coordinate with the technical team to understand project requirements.
• Negotiate project scope, timelines, and pricing (when required).
• Maintain records of bids, leads, and conversions.
• Follow Upwork policies and best practices.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of experience as an Upwork Bidder or Business Development Executive.
• Excellent English written communication skills.
• Proven expertise in Upwork Bidding, client outreach, and crafting compelling proposals tailored to client needs
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to manage client interactions effectively
• Experience or proficiency in digital platforms and proposal tools
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Software Development, AI-driven solutions, and digital strategy services is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads efficiently
• Previous experience in business development or sales in a digital or consulting firm is preferred
