Technical Sales Officer

Description:

You will be our technical face in the field. You'll visit sites, advise customers, make sure our pumps are installed correctly, and win sales by solving real water-pressure and drainage problems. You will report to the Head of Sales.

What you'll do

• Visit homes, buildings, and construction sites across Karachi to survey requirements and recommend the right pump

• Carry out pump selection and sizing, and prepare technical inputs for quotations

• Inspect installations, support commissioning, and make sure dealers and plumbers follow correct installation practice

• Meet customers, builders, consultants and plumbers, run product demos, and convert enquiries into orders

• Give dealers and plumbers technical training and support

• Pass installation and warranty issues to after-sales, and follow them up until they're resolved

• Keep daily visit and sales records, and share market feedback with the team

What you'll bring

• A Bachelor's degree or DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineer) in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering

• 3-5+ years of experience in technical sales, installation or service of pumps, water systems or related building-services (MEP) equipment

• A strong practical understanding of pumps: head, flow, pressure boosting, and installation and electrical requirements

• The ability to read site conditions quickly and explain technical options in plain language

• Your own motorbike or car, a valid driving licence, and willingness to travel across Karachi every day

• Good communication in Urdu and English

• Experience with plumbers, dealers or contractors in Karachi is a strong advantage
