System Engineer

 

Description:

● Responsibilities:

○ Good speaking English is a must to have (At least conversational)

○ Having experience in on-call troubleshooting is a plus

○ Install, support, and maintain all network servers and devices.

○ Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and Intranet systems.

○ Maintain system efficiency.

○ Administer Active Directory services.

○ Desktop Support and Troubleshooting Windows, Mac, Linux.

○ Network maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

○ Generate/retain system backup and procedures.

○ Monitor usage and network traffic.

○ Maintain access control lists and security protocols.

○ Create, update, and maintain all network-related documentation.

○ Responsible for all technical inventory.

○ Identify and troubleshoot computer software/hardware issues on the Operations Floor and provide timely resolution of all IT issues.

○ Ensure all computers in the network are up and functional at all times.

○ Review system logs.

○ Provide remote IT support to clients in the US as needed

○ Should have experience in troubleshooting DVR/NVR and Analog/IP camera

○ Work on assigned tickets and escalations from the remote support team, handling the

ticketing system efficiently.

○ Make recommendations for future upgrades.

○ Evaluate and modify system performance.

○ Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of

personal computers as well as printers.

○ Send daily update reports to the concerned authority.

 

 

● Required Skills / Experience:

○ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

○ 1-3 years of experience using, configuring, and troubleshooting various Microsoft

platforms, including current versions of Windows OS.

○ Strong knowledge of switches, routers, and firewalls.

○ Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, standards, and

network security.

○ Experience with developing the network strategy, capacity planning, and selection of network hardware.
