Chemical Engineer

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Karāchi for a Sales & Services Chemical Engineer / Trainee with laboratory experience in water treatment chemicals. The role involves visiting customer sites, understanding their water treatment needs, and providing technical guidance on product selection, dosage, and application. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting basic lab tests on water samples, preparing performance reports, and documenting treatment results. The role also requires supporting sales activities by preparing quotations, following up with clients, and assisting in product demonstrations and training. The individual will collaborate with senior engineers and service technicians to troubleshoot issues, maintain customer satisfaction, and ensure safe handling and use of chemicals.
Qualifications

• Educational background in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field (fresh graduates and trainees are encouraged to apply).
• Hands-on experience or academic exposure to laboratory testing, water analysis, and performance evaluation of water treatment chemicals.
• Basic knowledge of water treatment processes, chemical dosing, safety procedures, and relevant industry standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and build professional relationships.
• Ability to work on-site, travel locally to customer facilities, and perform field tests and inspections as needed.
• Proficient in using common office and reporting tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email) for documentation and client communication.
