Student Career Counsellor

 

Description:

As a Student Career Counsellor at 2Degrees Education Consultancy, you will be expected to support various functions that contribute to the smooth delivery of client services and student support. The role is multifaceted and involves interaction with clients, research, administrative coordination, marketing support, and continuous learning. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

A. Client Services Support

• Respond to student inquiries through email, phone, and social media platforms in a timely and

professional manner.

• Assist in scheduling consultations and follow-up meetings with prospective students and parents.

• Prepare preliminary student profiles based on academic records, interests, and intended study

destinations.

B. Research and Documentation

• Conduct research on international universities, academic programs, and scholarship opportunities across multiple countries.

• Compile and regularly update databases related to admission requirements, application procedures, and deadlines.

• Assist in drafting informational materials such as brochures, student guides, and application support documents.

C. Administrative Support

• Organize and maintain student records, application documents, and client files in both digital and physical formats.

• Monitor and track application progress, ensuring timely document submission and compliance with deadlines.

• Maintain logs of student interactions, progress updates, and feedback for internal tracking and reporting.

D. Marketing and Outreach

• Support the creation of social media content, including graphics, captions, and story updates, aligned with brand guidelines.

• Assist in coordinating webinars, seminars, and school outreach events for student engagement and lead generation.

• Contribute to newsletters, blog posts, and promotional material through research and content drafting.

E. Learning and Training

• Participate actively in internal training sessions focused on international education systems and counselling practices.

• Shadow senior consultants during student sessions to gain practical exposure and enhance counselling techniques.

• Complete assigned learning tasks and projects aimed at building knowledge, skills, and overall job readiness.

 

What we are looking for:

Excellent communication skills

Intermediate/Bachelors Degree holders (Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply)

Minimum Experience: 6 months-1 year

Confident, organized & people-friendly attitude
