The Education Trust Nasra School (ETNS) provides affordable, high-quality education to children from low-income families in Karachi. Founded in 1949, ETNS has expanded to five large campuses across the city, including Saddar, Malir, Korangi, Super Highway, and North Karachi. Currently, over 8,000 students are enrolled from Pre-Primary to Higher Secondary. ETNS offers both Sindh Board and Aga Khan University Examination Board education streams, supported by digital libraries across all campuses to foster IT skills and innovation.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr. Accountant, located in Karachi. The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Additional tasks include coordinating audits, conducting financial analysis, and providing financial insights to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial management skills, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
• Experience in managing audits and financial analysis
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in the education sector is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ICMA Part II
