Accounts Manager

GK Hair is looking for an experienced Manager Accounts to oversee day-to-day accounting operations across our subsidiaries in the USA, UK, Europe, UAE, KSA, Canada, Pakistan, and Australia. This is an execution-focused, hands-on role. You will make sure transactions are recorded accurately, bank and intercompany reconciliations are completed on time, receivables and payables are under control, and treasury, tax, statutory compliance, and reporting are handled accurately. You should be detail-oriented and comfortable working across multiple entities, currencies, and time zones.

We also expect you to be AI-enabled in your day-to-day work. You should already be using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar to reduce manual work, analyze accounting data, automate repetitive tasks, improve reconciliations, prepare reports, and keep finding smarter ways to work.

What You'll Own

• Month-end bank reconciliations, receipts, and payments for all subsidiaries, with every discrepancy investigated and cleared
• AR and AP aging, vendor master, and dashboards, including overdue follow-ups and provisions for doubtful debts
• Intercompany reconciliations, foreign currency revaluation, and the month-end close across all entities
• VAT, GST, sales tax, and withholding tax compliance.
• Capex and Opex classification, fixed asset register, and depreciation
• Distribution and negative distribution transactions, credit card control sheets, and sales commission validation
• Supply chain accounting, including vendor, factory, and logistics provider payments
• Guidance, task tracking, and absence cover for junior team members

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, with ACCA, CA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a multi-entity, multi-currency international business
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, internal controls, and international tax (VAT, GST, sales tax, withholding tax)
• Hands-on ERP experience and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, macros)
• Experience leading or guiding a team of accountants
• Confident, clear English and the ability to work with teams across time zones
• Working experience with AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar. You should already be using them to speed up reconciliations, reporting, data analysis, and repetitive tasks, and keep finding smarter ways to work
