Senior PHP Developer

Description:

We are looking for a highly self-sufficient PHP Developer to join our team on a part-time, independent contractor, remote basis. This role is focused solely on fixing bugs and making minor improvements to an existing product—no new feature development. You can work whatever hours/time zone you want, but you can expect to be needed about ~25 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Debugging and fixing issues in an existing PHP (Laravel) application.
• Making small adjustments and optimizations as needed.
• Working independently—after an initial walkthrough from the CTO, you’ll be expected to manage everything on your own.

What You Need:

• Strong PHP experience, specifically with the Laravel framework.
• Experience writing front-end JavaScript for minor UI fixes.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Ability to work entirely independently—this is a solo role with no hand-holding.
• Speak fluent English
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Be clean. Test your work before pushing live.
