We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing global finance organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine accounting leadership, financial planning and analysis, process improvement, and M&A integration support within a dynamic acquisition-driven environment.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will take ownership of financial operations across a portfolio of operating companies, leading month-end close activities, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis. You will partner closely with business leaders and finance stakeholders, provide actionable financial insights, supervise junior team members, and contribute to finance transformation initiatives through automation and AI-driven solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Own and execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Maintain ownership of close timelines and reporting deadlines across assigned entities.
- Review and validate balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and maintain strong financial controls.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Independently manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities.
- Perform detailed variance analysis and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forward-looking forecasts.
- Identify and implement process improvements through automation, AI tools, and workflow optimization.
- Drive adoption of technology-enabled finance solutions to improve reporting efficiency and scalability.
- Support and lead integration of newly acquired operating companies.
- Assist with acquisition accounting and related integration activities.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Build strong relationships with operating company leadership and global stakeholders.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior finance team members.
Qualifications for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7+ years of accounting and/or finance experience.
- Professional accounting designation (CA, ACCA, CPA) or progress toward certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with IFRS, US GAAP, or other recognized accounting frameworks.
- Extensive experience managing month-end close activities.
- Strong experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial analysis.
- Experience working in multi-entity, international, or global environments is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is an asset).
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or developing junior team members.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
