Senior Accounting Associate

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accounting Associate opportunity located in Islamabad. The role includes financial reporting, general ledger management, reconciliation, and month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, financial statements, and reporting schedules
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and reconciliation
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Assist in accounts payable & accounts receivable cycles
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors

Qualifications

• ACCA & CA Finalist preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS, GAAP preferred)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, ERP, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools and software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently under deadlines
