Security Analyst

Description:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts sent from security tools.

• Respond to and escalate alerts following Incident Response Runbook.

• Perform incident triage as depicted in the runbook.

• Review security tool consoles for non-compliant issues and generate Jira tickets for issues to be remediated.

• Participate in lessons learned after security incidents and exercises.

• Monitor vulnerability scans and produce reporting to identify items that require remediation.

• Assign, monitor and report on vulnerability remediation activity.

• Escalate security risks where task completion exceeds targeted timelines.

• Maintain and update Incident Response Runbook.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or relevant field.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity.

• Focused skills on incident response and Vulnerability Management.
