Description:

NUTECH Islamabad is seeking two enthusiastic and driven Research Assistants to join its dynamic team for research projects focusing on advanced energy materials and sustainable energy solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong academic background in Chemistry or related disciplines, especially those interested in hands-on experimental research.

Project Areas:

• Design and manufacturing of graphene-based batteries

• Photo-assisted electrochemical hydrogen (H₂) generation through water splitting

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting advanced research experiments related to battery materials and hydrogen production.

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment for electrochemical and photochemical testing.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data with accuracy.

• Contribute to scientific writing including reports, research papers, and grant proposals.

• Collaborate with other researchers and teams within the university.

• Take initiative in performing research-related tasks and responsibilities beyond core duties.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• MS degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field (preferred).

• Practical experience in electrochemical techniques.

• Excellent scientific writing and analytical skills.

• Strong interest in research with a collaborative and proactive mindset.

• Willingness to take on additional assignments in support of research activities.
