S&P Global is seeking a Researcher – Private Markets under its Re-Start Program, designed to help professionals re-enter the workforce after a career break. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and managing financial data related to private markets while working closely with a global team.

Key Responsibilities:

📊 Data Collection & Analysis:

• Track and collect comprehensive financial data in the private markets sector.
• Extract, validate, and update information using press releases, financial statements, regulatory filings, and trade documents.

🔍 Market Research & Reporting:

• Conduct in-depth industry research to stay updated on private market trends.
• Monitor industry transactions and report findings for internal and external use.

📈 Quality Control & Process Improvement:

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity according to S&P Global’s standards.
• Identify opportunities for data collection improvements and product enhancements.

🤝 Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with global teams to refine data processes and maintain industry standards.
• Provide input on new collection methods to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

✔️ MBA / M.Com or equivalent degree with a strong academic record.
✔️ Strong knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and valuation methodologies.
✔️ Familiarity with financial statements, annual reports, and industry filings.
✔️ Proficient in online research, data extraction, and analysis.
✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✔️ Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
✔️ Experience with databases or automation tools is a plus.
✔️ Flexibility to work in different shifts as required.
