Project Accountant

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to manage the financial operations of construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee project budgets, track job costs, process invoices, prepare client billings, and ensure accurate financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor project budgets and job costs.

* Process vendor and subcontractor invoices.

* Prepare progress billings and payment applications.

* Track project profitability and forecast project costs.

* Reconcile project expenses and maintain accurate financial records.

* Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial accuracy.

* Assist with month-end reporting and project closeout.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* 2+ years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred).

* Strong understanding of job costing and project accounting.

* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
