Podcast Video & Audio Editor Intern

Description:

We are looking for a creative and motivated Video & Audio Editor Intern to join our team and work on podcast content.

You will be responsible for editing recorded podcast episodes and transforming them into professional, engaging content for YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a student, fresher, or aspiring video editor who wants to build real-world experience and a strong portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit full-length podcast episodes for YouTube and other platforms.
• Synchronize and clean multiple camera and audio tracks.
• Remove unwanted sections, pauses, mistakes and background noise.
• Improve voice/audio quality using noise reduction, EQ, compression and basic audio mixing.
• Add subtitles, captions, lower thirds and text overlays.
• Add B-roll, images, screenshots and relevant visual elements where appropriate.
• Create engaging short-form clips from long podcast episodes.
• Produce YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and LinkedIn clips.
• Add appropriate transitions, sound effects and background music.
• Perform basic colour correction and video enhancement.
• Maintain organized project files and raw footage.
• Make revisions based on feedback.
• Help develop a consistent visual style for the podcast.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar software.
• Basic understanding of video and audio editing.
• Good sense of pacing and storytelling.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills.
