Operations Manager

 

Description:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations including production coordination, inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, and team supervision to ensure smooth daily functioning and scalability of the business.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Production & Supply Chain Management

• Coordinate with vendors, tailors, and production units

• Ensure timely production as per collection launches

• Monitor quality control standards

• Manage fabric sourcing and procurement timelines

 

2. Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels (raw material + finished goods)

• Implement inventory tracking systems

• Reduce stock wastage and dead inventory

 

3. Order Fulfillment & Logistics

• Oversee daily order processing (target: scaling to 50–100 orders/day)

• Manage packing, dispatch, and courier coordination

• Ensure minimum delivery delays and returns handling

 

4. Team Management

• Supervise warehouse staff, packing team, and coordinators

• Set daily/weekly KPIs for teams

• Train and improve team efficiency

 

5. Process Optimization

• Develop SOPs for all operational processes

• Identify bottlenecks and improve workflow efficiency

• Implement systems to increase conversion fulfillment rate

 

6. Reporting & Performance Tracking

• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports (orders, dispatch, returns)

• Work closely with CEO on P&L impact and cost optimization

• Monitor operational KPIs (fulfillment time, return %, defects, etc.)

 

 

 

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in operations (preferably fashion/e-commerce)

• Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory systems

• Experience managing teams of 10+ people

• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (inventory + reporting)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
