Develop quality standards for the organisation's raw materials, in-process products, and finished products and design new, complex, or innovative measures, tests, sampling methods, and other procedures that ensure that these standards are met

Responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals.

This role reports to the Lead Microbiologist

What You Will Do:
 

• Laboratory Testing and Calibration – Operates and maintains a safe, accident-free laboratory environment. Prioritize testing based on business needs and departmental goals. Confirmation of any doubtful results. Perform internal calibration of equipment’s as per plan. Maintain and operate specified laboratory equipment’s safely. Reporting of results to respective engineers and operators in a timely manner,
• Environmental Monitoring – Responsible for the execution and reassessment of the company Environmental Monitoring (EM) program.
• Chemicals and equipment’s – Ensuring availability of all the required solutions/chemicals. Immediate reporting of non-functional instrument to Lead Microbiologist and sending e-mail/ notification for its repair without any delay.
• SAP – Accurately complete data entry into SAP for release of lots to ensure the timely dispatches to customers.
• Audits – Involved in both internal and external auditing processes by ensuring laboratory practices comply with regulatory standards, customer requirements and quality management systems.
