Description:
We are looking for an experienced Manager Costing to join our footwear manufacturing company.
THE ROLE:
- Will accurately estimate the pre-costing for all new footwear articles production and prepare detailed cost breakdown reports for analysis and further actions.
- Share the responsibility of cost of production as per pre costing estimates and Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.
- Analyze and report variances between actual costs and standard costing before work order closing and take the steps/decision to avoid the variance.
- Work with procurement teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing of raw materials & monitor the production process and suggest adjustments in material consumption to optimize costs.
RIGHT PERSON FOR THE ROLE:
- Must have degree in Cost Management/Finance/Accounting with 5+ years in similar role in the footwear manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, ERP systems, and Excel.
- Ability to assess cost drivers and propose cost-saving measures.
