Description:

Our firm is looking for a dynamic, and self-driven Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who want hands-on experience in taxation and corporate reporting.

 

What You’ll Do:

·       Interpret and analyze SROs, circulars, notifications, amendments, and other regulations issued by Federal and Provincial taxation authorities and assess their impact on clients.

·       Maintain strong working knowledge of Income Tax laws, Federal and Provincial Sales Tax laws, rules, notifications, and related regulatory requirements.

·       Prepare monthly sales tax computations and submit sales tax returns through relevant e-portals under applicable Federal and Provincial sales tax laws.

·       Prepare PSIDs/challans for payment of sales tax and other applicable tax liabilities.

·       Compute income tax withholding obligations and prepare and submit withholding statements under section 165 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (the Ordinance).

·       Review and interpret tax notices, show-cause notices, audit queries, and other correspondence issued by taxation authorities and identify the information and documentation required from clients.

·       Coordinate with clients to obtain relevant financial, accounting, legal, and supporting documentation for responding to tax notices and regulatory requirements.

·       Draft, review, and finalize replies to notices and correspondence issued by taxation authorities.

·       Represent and attend hearings before tax officers and taxation authorities on behalf of clients and effectively explain the client's position and submitted responses.

·       Obtain information from clients with respect to annual individual return of income submissions

·       Prepare and submit individual returns of income after due review of clients

·       Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Companies Act, 2017, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) regulations, guidelines, and applicable corporate compliance requirements.

·       Prepare and submit annual returns, UBO forms, and other statutory filings relating to changes in company particulars with SECP.

·       Prepare other forms for change in particulars of companies

·       Coordinate and liaise effectively between clients, taxation authorities, SECP, and senior management to ensure timely resolution of tax and corporate compliance matters.

·       Monitor statutory deadlines and ensure timely completion and submission of tax and corporate compliance assignments.

·       Visit the offices of regulatory bodies for follow ups and meetings

·       Review work prepared by junior team members and provide technical guidance, supervision, and quality control where required.

·       Maintain organized records of tax filings, notices, correspondence, hearings, corporate documents, and other relevant client information.

·       Assist senior management in tax planning, compliance reviews, client advisory matters, and resolution of complex tax and corporate issues.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understand client requirements, and ensure professional and timely delivery of services.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or Part qualified CA (tax paper cleared preferably)
  • Good spoken and written English
