Role Purpose:
To lead and manage the maintenance engineering function, ensuring the reliability, availability, and optimal performance of equipment and facilities through effective maintenance planning, execution, and continuous improvement. The role is responsible for minimizing equipment downtime, optimizing maintenance costs, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with engineering and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
Ensure reliability, availability, and integrity of port equipment and associated facilities.
Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, execution, and performance monitoring.
Manage maintenance budgets, manpower, spare parts, and maintenance contracts.
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize equipment failures.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Lead and develop the maintenance engineering team.
Drive reliability improvement, maintenance optimization, and cost efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
10–12 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in port equipment maintenance.
