Logistics Executive

Description:

Rapid Supplies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to join their dynamic team in Karachi. This role requires a candidate with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally with exposure to international logistics or operations in the Middle East region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination and management of logistics operations, including vendor relations, freight management, and timely shipment processing.

You will work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Fluency in English is required to effectively liaise with international partners and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee international logistics operations, ensuring shipments are processed and delivered on time.

• Manage relationships with vendors, freight forwarders, and shipping partners to optimize cost and service quality.

• Track and monitor shipments, resolving any logistical issues proactively.

• Collaborate closely with supply chain teams and other departments to streamline logistics workflows.

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and related documentation.

• Provide timely updates and reports to management regarding logistics performance and challenges.

• Address and solve operational problems quickly and efficiently to prevent disruptions.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the logistics process.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Solid understanding of international logistics and freight forwarding.

• Experience coordinating with Middle East or other international markets is highly desirable.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle complex logistics operations.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Additional Information:

• This position is based onsite at Rapid Supplies’ office located in DHA Phase 6, Karachi.

• Working hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with alternate Saturdays off.

• Immediate joiners will be preferred to meet operational demands.
