Junior Wordpress Developer

Description:

Dionix.ai is seeking a Junior WordPress Developer to join their growing team. As a part of the in-house team, you will assist in developing and customizing WordPress websites, converting design mockups into functional web pages, and making basic edits to themes and plugins. You’ll also help with content updates, layout changes, and website testing while learning from senior developers and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and customizing WordPress websites.

• Convert design mockups (Figma or PSD) into functional web pages.

• Make basic edits to themes and plugins.

• Perform content updates, layout changes, and website testing.

• Learn and grow by collaborating with senior developers and designers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Basic understanding of WordPress and website development.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and a bit of PHP/JavaScript.

• Knowledge of page builders like Elementor or WPBakery is a plus.

• Strong willingness to learn and improve.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• A personal portfolio or small projects you've worked on (even for practice).

Bonus (but not required):

• Experience with WooCommerce.

• Understanding of SEO basics or website speed optimization.

• Git or version control knowledge.
