Interior Designer Execution

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer Execution (Purchaser) role based in Rawalpindi. The role involves coordinating with designers and project managers to translate design concepts into detailed material and product requirements, including FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The Interior Designer Execution (Purchaser) will source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors, prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure that all items meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations. Daily tasks include reviewing construction drawings and specifications, visiting project sites to verify measurements and finishes, and resolving execution issues with contractors and suppliers. The role also includes maintaining up-to-date procurement records, monitoring inventory for ongoing projects, and supporting the team in achieving cohesive, functional, and aesthetically aligned interior spaces.
Qualifications
 

• Proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning to translate design concepts into practical, buildable solutions.
• Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to interpret plans, details, and technical specifications for execution.
• Hands-on experience with FF&E selection, specification, and procurement, including materials, finishes, and furniture.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, and sourcing skills, with the ability to balance quality, cost, and timelines.
• Familiarity with site execution processes, coordination with contractors, and quality checks during installation.
• Proficiency in relevant design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and to take ownership of execution and purchasing responsibilities.
