This is an excellent opportunity for ACCA Qualified individuals who are either enrolled in or willing to pursue the ICAEW qualification. The role offers exposure to a wide range of accounting, audit, tax, and financial reporting assignments, providing hands-on experience essential for professional growth.
As an ICAEW Trainee, you will work closely with experienced chartered accountants and gain practical insight into the professional services environment, including audit procedures, financial compliance, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting audits, including reviewing financial statements and performing substantive testing.
- Support the preparation of financial reports in line with applicable accounting standards and firm policies.
- Perform tax compliance work, including preparation of tax computations and filing returns.
- Maintain accounting records and perform reconciliations for clients across various industries.
- Collaborate with senior team members to ensure compliance with internal controls and professional standards.
- Contribute to client advisory services by conducting research and preparing reports.
- Utilize MS Office tools effectively to analyze data, prepare documentation, and generate presentations.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- ACCA Qualified (Fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
- Enrolled in or willing to pursue the ICAEW qualification.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
