Position: GPON Supervisor
Location: Lahore
Job type: Temporary (Project Based)

We are hiring a “GPON Supervisor” at Lahore with the following (but not limited to) responsibilities:

* Oversee all field activities related to FTTH/GPON deployment projects.
* Conduct daily site visits to monitor project progress, perform quality inspections of civil works, and manage splicing activities.
* Ensure fiber cable deployments comply with TF and customer standards for both aerial and underground installations.
* Perform field surveys for new and ongoing projects.
* Enforce Health, Environment and Safety standards at site.
* Compile and manage project data for As-Built drawings and feeder network KMZ files.
* Supervise and carry out testing on ISP/OSP equipment and fiber cables (Fiber Testing Protocols).
* Oversee network health checks using Fiber Tools such as OTDR, Optical Source & Power Meter, and VFL.
* Ensure sites are prepared for acceptance testing (PAT).
* Manage inventory and store operations to ensure operational efficiency.
* Maintain detailed records of civil works, including invoice verification. MB preparation and sign off with all stakeholders.
* Foster strong customer relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Eligibility Criteria:

* 3-5 years of experience in fiber deployment and maintenance projects (Experience of PTCL FTTH/GPON Projects will be given preference).
* Able to identify complex faults of both Aerial and UG OFC. Pinpoint with both physical survey and fiber testing tools and rectify with smart approach.
* Diploma in Electrical/Civil Engineering or Bachelor’s degree.
* Proficiency in computer applications and tools such as MS Office and Google Earth/Map.
* Able to read and understand Maps and As Built Diagrams.
* Sound knowledge of fiber splicing tools and equipment & Fiber Testing Protocols.
* Able to perform splicing when required.
* Strong time management and able to work independently.
* Having own motor bike will be added advantage.
