Full-stack Engineer

Description:

We’re looking for a full-stack engineer who enjoys building useful products, exploring unfamiliar technologies, and finding better ways to work.

You’ll join a team of four full-stack developers working on varied, technically challenging projects. We build and maintain production software while continually improving our tools, workflows, and engineering practices.

AI is already part of how we build. We experiment with coding agents, custom tools, plugins, reusable skills, and automated workflows. We want someone who will actively contribute to that process and bring ideas of their own.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
• Take ownership of work from understanding the problem through implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Learn unfamiliar technologies when a project calls for them.
• Prototype ideas, evaluate the results, and help decide what deserves further investment.
• Use AI tools throughout development while reviewing, testing, and understanding the output.
• Create reusable tools, integrations, or workflows that improve how the team works.
• Explain technical decisions, share discoveries, and collaborate openly with the team.

What we’re looking for

You have enough practical development experience to contribute independently. You’ve shipped real software and worked through the debugging, maintenance, and tradeoffs that follow.

You should bring:

• Solid foundations in programming, web applications, APIs, databases, and Git.
• Depth in at least one full-stack ecosystem, with a willingness to work beyond it.
• Evidence of learning something unfamiliar and using it to solve a real problem.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for development, including an understanding of where they can go wrong.
• The judgment to balance experimentation with simplicity, reliability, and delivery.
• Clear communication: you ask useful questions, flag blockers early, and explain your thinking
