Description:
We’re looking for a Freelance Platform Sales & Acquisition Specialist to help us win new projects and clients through platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, and similar marketplaces. This role is perfect for someone who understands how to position services strategically, write winning proposals, and convert leads into paying clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target high-value projects and clients on freelancing platforms.
- Write compelling proposals, messages, and pitches that stand out and win jobs.
- Optimise our agency profiles on platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, Freelancer, Bark, etc.
- Strategically bid on relevant projects and follow up to close deals effectively.
- Build and manage a pipeline of warm leads through consistent outreach.
- Coordinate with internal teams (design, dev, PPC, SEO, AI) to ensure proposals match our service capabilities.
- Track, analyse, and optimise bidding strategies to increase win rates.
- Understand client requirements, prepare quotations, and convert enquiries into contracts.
- Maintain a high standard of communication and professionalism to represent Spotlight GB globally.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience winning projects on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, or similar.
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to write persuasive proposals.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, web development, SEO, PPC, or SaaS solutions.
- Ability to identify profitable opportunities and prioritise bids that lead to conversions.
- Comfortable working to targets and performance goals.
- Familiarity with client onboarding, contract handling, and basic CRM processes.
- Organised, self-motivated, and proactive in closing leads.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working in an agency environment.
- Familiarity with AI tools, GoHighLevel, or marketing automation systems.
- Experience managing multiple freelancing accounts.
- Ability to upsell and cross-sell services.
