Financial Data Analyst

Description:

FGK Back Office Services (Private) Limited, a growing asset management company with offices in London, Islamabad, Monaco, and Switzerland, is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join their operations team in Islamabad. This role involves data management, report generation, and system maintenance to support the company's financial and back-office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare data structures, refine and categorize data for investment portfolios.

• Collect data from multiple sources and consolidate it into meaningful analysis.

• Download and categorize bulk reports manually for stakeholders.

• Monitor data feeds and update security prices manually.

• Maintain accurate categorization of securities.

• Provide data statistics and analysis on a monthly basis or as required.

• Monitor the KYC module for upcoming document expiration.

• Identify errors and inefficiencies in the system and implement necessary changes.

• Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required.

• Investigate and resolve data/performance queries raised by the team.

• Produce weekly meeting minutes.

• Continuously improve data workflows across various departments.

Systems:

• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel Advanced, Word & PowerPoint)

• Microsoft Teams

• Bloomberg

Required Skills & Experience:

• Graduate degree in Financial Data Management, Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related field.

• 4 to 5 years of experience handling bulk and unstructured data, and data visualization in a banking/financial institution or finance department.

• Strong knowledge of MS-Office (especially Excel at an advanced level).

• Experience with data management tools and management/accounting software.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Proactive, self-starter, and able to work in a team environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an intelligent working style.

  • Winter: 10:00 AM to 07:00 PM

  • Summer: 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM
