We’re hiring multiple Data Engineers to work with US-based clients on building scalable, production-grade data systems.
Key Requirements
- Onsite position based in Johar Town, Lahore (6 PM - 3 AM PKT)
- Must have experience taking technical interviews or client calls with North American (US/Canada) clients.
- Certified Data Engineer or equivalent certification required
What you’ll do
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar)
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks (Apache Airflow, dbt, Prefect)
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes for analytics and reporting
Responsibilities
- Experience with real-time streaming technologies (Apache Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with data lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg)
- Working knowledge of Apache Spark or similar distributed computing frameworks
- Understanding of CI/CD practices for data pipelines
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Knowledge of modern data stack tools (Fivetran, Airbyte, Stitch)
