Asterisk Architect

Description:

We are looking for a Senior VoIP / Asterisk Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-grade VoIP systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-availability environments and large-scale call handling.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise VoIP Architecture & Delivery

* Design and implement high-availability, multi-site, and multi-carrier VoIP systems

* Lead PBX-to-IP migrations

* Implement SIP trunk redundancy

* Develop disaster recovery strategies

* Architect scalable Asterisk platforms supporting 200–1000+ concurrent calls

* Ensure security, performance optimization, and carrier integration

Platform Engineering, Operations & Leadership

* Develop advanced dial plans, IVR systems, queues, and call routing logic

* Optimize PJSIP performance

* Troubleshoot SIP and RTP at the protocol level

* Manage SBCs, gateways, VLANs, QoS, and Linux servers

* Lead VoIP / NOC teams

* Define technical standards

* Coordinate with telecom carriers and vendors

Required Skills & Experience

* 3–5+ years of enterprise VoIP experience

* Advanced expertise in Asterisk architecture and optimization

* Strong knowledge of:
