Drywall Estimator

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drywall Estimator with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial drywall and metal framing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for large-scale projects, utilizing industry-standard software to ensure competitive and profitable bidding.

Key Responsibilities:

* Digital Takeoffs: Perform comprehensive digital quantity takeoffs for metal framing, drywall, insulation, and acoustical ceilings using On-Screen Takeoff (OST).

* Cost Estimation: Build detailed labor and material estimates and finalize bid proposals using Quick Bid software.

* Plan Analysis: Thoroughly review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda to identify project scope, potential risks, and value engineering opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience specifically in drywall and metal stud estimating.

* Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Quick Bid is mandatory.

* Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to read complex blueprints and CAD files.

* Education: A degree in a relevant Engineering discipline is preferred.

* Soft Skills: high mathematical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple bid deadlines simultaneously.
