S&P Global Market Intelligence is offering a Re-Start Program designed to support professionals returning to the workforce after a career break. As a Data Researcher – Industry Fundamentals, you will play a critical role in extracting, analyzing, and standardizing financial data from company reports, contributing to high-quality data solutions for clients. This is an opportunity to work with a global team across the United States, Pakistan, and India, helping deliver accurate and timely content for financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process financial data for Fundamentals teams and ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collect, standardize, and validate corporate financial reports, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
- Meet predefined individual and team targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Work within set parameters and under supervision to ensure compliance with data processing guidelines.
- Stay updated with industry trends and financial reporting standards to enhance expertise.
- Provide input and suggestions for improving data collection methods and product enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data collection and processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BBA Finance, MBA Finance, ACCA Affiliate (Maximum 2 papers left in case of Finalist) or relevant accounting/finance degree.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of financial data analysis and reporting standards.
- Experience with data automation, Lean, AI, and databases is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum career break of 1 year (for eligibility under the Re-Start Program).
