Customer Service Representative

 

Description:

The Online Sales Representative will be responsible for converting inbound leads received through social media platforms and WhatsApp into sales by providing accurate product information, handling customer queries, and coordinating with relevant branches for product availability, delivery, and after-sales services. This role requires strong communication skills, sales confidence, and prior call center experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact and follow up with leads received via social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and WhatsApp
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products from our products’ range
  • Clearly explain product features, pricing, promotions, and warranty details
  • Coordinate with relevant branches for product availability, delivery timelines, and service support
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed sales and achieve assigned sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and sales in company systems
  • Ensure timely responses to customer queries to maintain high service standards
  • Handle objections professionally and close sales effectively
  • Collaborate with branch teams and aftersales departments for smooth order execution
  • Follow company sales scripts, policies, and compliance guidelines

 

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal communication and customer handling skills
  • Proven ability to generate, manage, and close sales leads
  • Confidence in tele-sales and online customer engagement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Energetic, proactive, and result-oriented personality
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with WhatsApp, social media platforms, and CRM tools

 

Qualification & Experience

  • Intermediate / Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 1–2 years of experience in a call center, tele-sales, or online sales role
  • Experience in inbound/outbound sales calls will be an added advantage
  • Fresh candidates with strong sales aptitude may also be considered
