Description:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Control & Automation Technician to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation and control systems, electrical systems, and working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), along with strong computer knowledge. This role involves working on both project installations and field service tasks, ensuring high-quality execution and client satisfaction.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of automation and control systems, including PLC-based equipment, during project execution.
- Perform field service tasks such as inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and control systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Support project teams in setting up and configuring automation systems at various sites.
- Conduct on-site testing and validation of electrical systems and control equipment to meet project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely and accurate completion of project deliverables.
- Provide hands-on support during field service visits, addressing technical issues and ensuring system reliability.
- Document site activities, including installation progress, service reports, and client interactions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all project and service activities.
- Assist in training on-site staff or clients on system operation, as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in automation and control systems, electrical systems, and working with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with PLC-based systems and their applications (programming not required).
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) is a plus.
- Solid computer knowledge for system diagnostics, configuration, and reporting.
- Education: Diploma in Electrical, Automation, Control Systems, or a related field.
