Cad Technician

Description:

A heavy-duty metal manufacturing company producing industrial air ducts, pipelines, steel structures, pressure vessels, silos, bunkers, tanks, and expansion joints: serving energy, chemical production, pulp & paper, and wood processing industries. Equipped with high-tech machinery for precision laser cutting, forming, welding, and surface treatment.

What you'll be doing:

• Creating detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models from conceptual designs and client requirements
• Producing shop drawings with exact dimensions, weld specifications, and material thicknesses
• Designing nesting layouts for laser and plasma cutting machines to minimize material wastage
• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints, piping diagrams, and structural plans
• Collaborating with the production team to resolve fit-up and assembly issues
• Revising drawings based on workshop feedback
• Managing drawing files, revision histories, and ISO-compliant documentation
