Description:
We are hiring a CTO who can design and scale an API-first, integration-heavy SaaS platform. You will be responsible for technical strategy, architectural decisions, engineering management, and delivery of all integrations and core backend systems.
You will work directly with the founder, lead the engineering team, and own the end-to-end product build from v0 to scalable multi-city deployment.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and build an API-first platform connecting 10–15 restaurant ERPs
• Develop robust API gateways, authentication, webhooks, and partner integration frameworks
• Design data pipelines for ingredient-level, SKU-level, and recipe-level synchronization
• Build connectors, middleware layers, and reusable integration modules
• Oversee data normalization, catalog matching, and master data management
• Lead procurement workflows including PO routing, MOQ logic, and multi-supplier order allocation
• Build secure, scalable systems with strong DevOps standards
• Implement CI/CD, code review processes, and engineering best practices
• Hire, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team
• Build API documentation, developer portals, and SDKs for ERP partners
• Ensure product reliability, security, compliance, and uptime
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and sprint plans
• Drive rapid prototyping cycles and build usable integrations within weeks, not months
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Proven experience building SaaS or B2B integration platforms
• Strong background in system architecture, API development, and integrations
• Solid understanding of procurement, marketplace flows, or order orchestration
• Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, message queues
• Hands-on capability in early months (Node.js, Go, Python preferred)
• Experience building connector ecosystems and integrating third-party ERPs or POS systems
• Strong command of databases, caching, and large-scale data processing
• Familiar with MDM, ETL pipelines, entity resolution, fuzzy matching
• Capable of building and leading lean teams in early-stage environments
• Comfortable working in high-ambiguity, fast-paced startup environments
• Strong communication, product thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Founder mindset with ownership, speed, and a bias for execution
