Description:
The Call Center & Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi.
This role combines customer service, admissions, and sales. You will be responsible for handling both inbound and outbound calls, assisting prospective and current students, and providing accurate information about Fortune Academy's programs, tuition, schedules, scholarships, and enrollment process.
In addition to answering incoming inquiries, you will proactively contact warm leads who have expressed interest in our programs through our website, marketing campaigns, and partner referrals. Your goal will be to understand each prospective student's educational and career objectives, answer their questions, overcome objections, and guide them through the enrollment process.
You will also:
- Follow up with prospective students via phone, email, and SMS.
- Convert inquiries into qualified and enrollment-ready students.
- Maintain accurate student records using CRM software.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a seamless student experience.
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after enrollment.
- Meet daily and monthly performance goals related to call quality, follow-up, lead conversion, enrollments, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, telesales, inside sales, admissions counseling, or business development is preferred.
- Strong sales and customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and earn customer trust.
- Proven ability to follow up with warm leads, overcome objections, and convert inquiries into enrollments or qualified sales opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Confident speaking over the phone and comfortable handling both inbound and outbound calls.
- Experience working with CRM systems, call center software, and lead management tools.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, email, and web-based applications.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Professional attitude, positive mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Karachi with reliability and punctuality.
- Previous experience in the education, healthcare, training, or professional services industry is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
