Biomedical Equipment Technician

Description:

HBS General Hospital is seeking a Biomedical Technician to join our reputable medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the proper functioning of medical and diagnostic equipment within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs of biomedical equipment
• Assist in equipment installations under the guidance of senior technicians and engineers
• Ability to work independently after initial supervision
• Provide coverage in case of staff shortage, including full 24-hour Sunday duty once a month
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with hospital protocols

Requirements:

• Diploma Biomedical Technology or related field
• Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory for capable candidates
• Must be dependable, proactive, and willing to respond to duty changes if needed
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
