Assistant Store Manager

Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Fresh Basket. The role will focus on ensuring the store's operational efficiency, cleanliness, inventory management, and customer service excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, proven experience in retail or store management, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring store readiness, managing inventory, and achieving sales targets. A customer-focused attitude and the ability to train and motivate a team are key for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that staff adhere to uniform, grooming, and hygiene standards.

• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure company assets are well-maintained.

• Ensure store is fully operational and ready by 08:00 AM daily.

• Oversee cashier setup and maintain accurate records.

• Perform daily quality checks on stock and manage inventory efficiently.

• Monitor wastage levels and track inventory variance.

• Conduct daily team briefings and product training sessions.

• Achieve daily sales targets and monitor KPIs such as NLC %, LC %, and CAP counts.

• Ensure timely completion of administrative duties including DSR, DCS, and PC files.

• Maintain accurate records of signed reports and reconciliation documents.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or store management.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Excel and Google Sheets.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• A customer-focused attitude with a passion for service excellence.
