Assistant Engineer

Kamal Limited is seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Engineer – Electrical to join our garment manufacturing facility in Faisalabad. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in managing electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting within a textile or garment manufacturing setup. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can ensure uninterrupted operations through effective maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.

You will be responsible for overseeing the electrical infrastructure, supporting machinery operations, and coordinating with technical teams to enhance overall plant efficiency. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain electrical systems and components in the garment manufacturing plant

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical machinery and equipment

• Ensure smooth and safe operation of power systems, control panels, and distribution boards

• Diagnose faults and resolve electrical breakdowns in a timely manner

• Maintain logs of equipment performance, incidents, and repair histories

• Coordinate with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime

• Implement energy-saving practices and compliance with electrical safety standards

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and systems

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry electrical regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc Electrical) or DAE (Electrical)

• 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within a garment or textile manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, safety standards, and energy management

• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics

• Good analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure

• Strong communication and coordination skills
