Your mission is to deliver skilled on-site service that keeps our customers’ equipment performing reliably and safely. You use your expertise to repair, maintain, and support the technology they depend on. Through your work, you help customers secure the uptime and performance they need to run their operations with confidence. You join the Customer Center Service team and report into the Operations Manager.
Short Description
- Perform service activities, including start-ups, breakdown support, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs, ensuring the highest quality standards and timely execution. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at customer sites.
- Prepare and submit detailed service reports after each job, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication with the Service Engineer.
- Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with Atlas Copco quality and safety standards.
- Collect and maintain accurate information on the installed equipment base, customer records, and machine park database.
- Support technical and administrative activities related to warranty claims, service issues, and customer inquiries.
- Contribute to Atlas Copco's customer-centric culture by consistently delivering exceptional customer value and customer care.
- Develop and effectively utilize management information systems and digital service tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Perform all duties in compliance with Atlas Copco's health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a strong safety culture at all times.
- Complete and submit weekly reports, monthly reports, and timesheets accurately and within established deadlines.
Your day-to-day
- Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems. You will also diagnose any issues to prevent equipment downtime.
- Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
- Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
Your Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of proven hands-on experience with rotary equipment, preferably air compressors, engines, or turbines.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment-related issues efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and open-minded individual with a strong "can-do" attitude.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
