Accountant

Description:

We are looking for a Junior Accountant with at least 1 year of experience and a strong command of Microsoft Excel to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a B.Com graduate who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the accounting field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure timely data entry
• Prepare vouchers, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reports
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable entries
• Utilize Excel for financial analysis, data tracking, and reporting
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Coordinate with the senior accountant or finance manager for audits and compliance tasks

Requirements:

• Education: B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce)
• Experience: At least 1 year in an accounting or finance role
• Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data filtering)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) is a plus
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
