Markezo is a fast-growing digital marketing agency working with clients across various industries. We’re looking for a skilled Web Designer to build, optimise, and manage high-performing websites using WordPress and Shopify, with a strong focus on SEO and conversions.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress and Shopify
- Create high-converting landing pages for marketing campaigns
- Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, structure, speed optimisation)
- Optimise website performance (site speed, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals)
- Customise themes and layouts to match client branding
- Manage website updates, plugins, and integrations
- Collaborate with marketing and ads team to align websites with campaign goals
- Conduct basic SEO audits and implement improvements
- Ensure websites are user-friendly, fast, and conversion-focused
🧠Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience in web design/development
- Strong experience with WordPress and Shopify
- Good understanding of SEO fundamentals
- Knowledge of website performance optimisation and Core Web Vitals
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
- Strong eye for design, layout, and UX/UI
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
