We are seeking a creative and trend-savvy Video Editor to join our team on-site in Karachi (Gulshan-e-Iqbal). This is a unique opportunity to create impactful short-form video content specifically for a US-based audience.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Editing raw video clips into polished, high-energy short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Applying your deep understanding of US social media trends, aesthetics, and humor to create content that resonates.
- Crafting compelling narratives with an expert sense of pacing, transitions, and sound design.
- Incorporating basic graphic design, text overlays, and motion graphics to enhance visual appeal.
- Collaborating with our team to brainstorm and execute fresh video concepts.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing short-form content.
- US Market Knowledge: Proven understanding of what works on social media for a US audience. You know the trends, the sounds, and the styles that perform well.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Creative Eye: A natural talent for storytelling, visual composition, and creating a polished final product.
- Design Skills: Basic graphic design ability to create simple, stylish on-screen text and elements.
- Professionalism: You are reliable, consistent, and committed to meeting deadlines.
