Video Editor

Description:

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor (AI) role based in the Karachi Division. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and enhancing video content for websites, social media campaigns, product showcases, and brand storytelling using both traditional editing tools and AI-powered platforms. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and assembling raw footage, applying transitions and effects, integrating motion graphics, optimizing audio, and adapting videos for multiple formats and channels. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and design teams to align video assets with campaign objectives, experimenting with AI tools to streamline workflows, and maintaining a consistent visual style across all content. The Video Editor is expected to manage timelines, organize media assets, and deliver high-quality videos that support eCommerce and digital marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, with the ability to produce polished, professional content.
• Experience with AI-powered video tools and platforms (e.g., AI-assisted editing, auto-captioning, visual enhancement) to improve efficiency and creativity.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, basic animation, and visual effects using software like After Effects or similar tools.
• Understanding of digital marketing and social media content requirements, including platform-specific formats and best practices for engagement.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpret briefs, and translate marketing and brand strategies into compelling video narratives.
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with eCommerce and product-focused content (e.g., product demos, ads, social media reels) is an advantage.
• Relevant education or training in media, film, design, communications, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
