We're looking for an experienced ASO Expert to optimize our mobile gaming portfolio and drive organic growth across app stores.
About the Role
As an ASO Expert at Apex Logics, you'll be responsible for maximizing the visibility and conversion rates of our mobile games through strategic App Store Optimization. You'll work directly with our game development team to ensure our titles reach their full potential in competitive gaming markets.
Key Responsibilities
Keyword Strategy & Research
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-traffic, low-competition terms across gaming genres (hyper-casual, RPG, simulation, etc.)
- Continuously monitor and update keyword strategies based on market trends and algorithm changes
Metadata Optimization
- Write and optimize compelling app titles, short descriptions, and long descriptions that improve ranking and drive conversions
- Execute A/B testing for metadata, icons, screenshots, and other store listing elements
- Manage ASO localization by translating and culturally adapting game listings for global markets
Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor top-chart competitors to track keyword changes, creative updates, and featured status
- Analyze competitor strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation
User Engagement & Reputation Management
- Monitor user reviews and ratings across all published titles
- Respond to user feedback promptly and professionally to maintain positive app reputation
Analytics & Reporting
- Utilize ASO tools (Sensor Tower, AppTweak, Mobile Action, data.ai, etc.) to track performance metrics
- Provide regular reports on ASO performance, rankings, and optimization opportunities
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of hands-on ASO experience specifically in the mobile gaming sector
- Proficiency in ASO tools such as Sensor Tower, AppTweak, Mobile Action, or data.ai
- Strong knowledge of Google Play Console, policies, and best practices
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of improving app store rankings and organic downloads
- Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze metrics and make strategic decisions
