Description:
As a UI/UX Designer with Graphic Design expertise at Compilex Technologies, you will play a dual role in designing intuitive and engaging user experiences while also creating visually compelling designs for our web and mobile platforms. You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, and other team members to ensure that both the functionality and aesthetics of our products exceed user expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- UI/UX Design: Create user-centered design solutions by conducting user research, defining personas, mapping user journeys, and designing wireframes and prototypes.
- Graphic Design: Design visually engaging graphics, icons, illustrations, and other digital assets that align with the brand’s aesthetic and user experience goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately. Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with both user needs and business objectives.
- Branding & Visual Design: Help define and maintain a cohesive visual style across all digital products and assets, ensuring brand consistency and a polished user experience.
- Usability Testing & Iteration: Conduct usability tests to gather user feedback and refine designs for optimal user experience.
- Design Systems: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a design system that streamlines design processes, ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Creative Problem Solving: Be proactive in coming up with innovative solutions to both design and user experience challenges.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a portfolio showcasing both UI/UX and graphic design projects.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and composition.
- Experience designing responsive web and mobile interfaces, along with the ability to create graphics that are tailored for different screen sizes and platforms.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development processes to ensure the feasibility of designs.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and consistency.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in animation and motion graphics (e.g., using After Effects) is a plus.
- Knowledge of design systems and experience working within Agile teams.
- Experience with usability testing tools, user research techniques, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
